  • Tuesday, October 01, 2019
  • 1:30 PM - 2:30 PM
  • 420 University Blvd, Indianapolis, IN

Smoke Free Indy is partnering with The Office of Health and Wellness Promotion to bring a social justice town hall to the campus of IUPUI. Local experts and community members will set the scene of tobacco use, the toll tobacco takes on the LGBTQ+ community, and marketing tactics Big Tobacco has used to target the community since the 1980s. The second half of the event will be dedicated to you! Please come and share your personal stories with tobacco, questions you may have, and ideas on how we can come together to lessen the burden of tobacco use in the LGBTQ+ community.

When: Tuesday October 1st 2019
Where: IUPUI Campus Center Room 309 (420 University Blvd, Indianapolis, IN 46202)
Why: To discuss tobacco as a social justice issue within the LGBTQ+ population

A light lunch will be available and space is limited so reserve your seat now!

Panel:
• Chris Handberg, Executive Director, Indy Pride
• Eric Teske, Director, Health and Wellness Promotion, IUPUI
• Tina Jacob, Health Education and Volunteer Manager, Little Red Door Cancer Agency
